I have been taken photographs for many years, yet I continue to look for something in images that cannot be understood ad first glance.

I am interested in places shaped by everyday life: façades, streets, windows, workplaces and urban landscapes. I observe people when they appear small within their surroundings, but also when they are not visible and only the signs of their passage remain. An object left behind, an open window, unfinished work or a surface altered by time can tell us about a life even when no one appears in the image.

I am drawn to this threshold between presence and absence. It is a space in which a façade can become a portrait of those who inhabit it, an empty setting can preserve the memory of work, and a small figure can change the meaning of an entire scene. Light, color and geometry helps me find order, but I am especially interested in what disrupts that order and makes a place distinctive: an anomaly, a gesture, a trace of time, an unexpected encounter.

Through photography, I try to make these relationships visible without exhausting their meaning, leaving viewers enough space to recognize something of the own experience.
